Quest for the Perfect Push-up

I made this video four years ago for an online class on public speaking. I was recently talking to some guys and they were interested in what I knew about the push up. My love for the push up started in 2015 when I became interested in body weight exercises. At the time I was able to lose 10 lbs from changing my diet and gained strength by doing a lot of push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and other stuff.

My friend Arnie Kander, a physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach for the NBA's Detroit Pistons at the time, helped me polish my form for this video! The push-up is still one of my favorite exercises to do. The more I pay attention to proper form, the more I enjoy it. I hope you enjoy this video too.

Good video John! And what rating habits did you change at the same time?

Thanks Mandy! The eating habits I changed were essentially eating less food. I stopped eating late night snacks and I only ate enough dinner to feel full, and stopped eating second portions that made me feel stuffed. I started including more salad and vegetables as well.
